A story of freshness

As a child, I would stand on the balcony of my sea-facing home in Mumbai, India, gazing upon the bustling streets where the Taanga, a traditional horse-drawn carriage adorned with a canopy, gracefully transported both tourists and locals. The rhythmic clatter of hooves upon cobblestones and the joyful chatter of passengers left an indelible mark on my heart, inspiring the creation of a brand that encapsulates the essence of India.

We collaborate closely with skilled artisans from diverse regions across India, honing centuries-old techniques to craft distinctive pieces that embody our rich cultural heritage. Each creation bears the imprint of its maker, weaving a narrative of tradition and innovation.

Our exquisite offerings are meticulously fashioned from natural materials, dyed with organic pigments to minimize our ecological footprint. Committed to sustainability, we eschew synthetic fabrics, leather, and plastic in favor of pure, environmentally-friendly alternatives.

At Taanga, we are acutely aware of our responsibility to the environment and society. From production to packaging, every aspect of our operations is guided by principles of eco-consciousness and social welfare. Moreover, a portion of our proceeds is dedicated to supporting the education of underprivileged children in India, nurturing the minds of tomorrow.
